Summary
A Klaviyo case study: Kate Weiser Chocolate grew flow revenue 2,155%, added 6,000+ subscribers, and hit $159K in attributed revenue in 8 months.
Kate Weiser Chocolate is a celebrated artisan brand known for its sculptural, limited-edition confections. They had an engaged customer base — but their Klaviyo account wasn’t built to convert it. Flows were underbuilt, signup forms were minimal, and automated email sequences were generating almost no revenue.
The opportunity was clear: build a full-funnel Klaviyo email marketing program from the ground up.

The Timeline
Month 1: Infrastructure First
Most brands jump straight to campaigns. We didn’t. The first month was spent building the foundation that makes everything else work.
Signup forms. A popup, flyout, and embedded form were deployed across the site — each offering 10% off to new subscribers. The primary popup alone generated 71,000+ views. The flyout added 6,000 more. A class-interest embed captured 2,470 additional leads. Every form was built with deliverability and segmentation in mind from day one.
Flow builds. The Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, and Sunset flows were rebuilt from scratch. These automated sequences are where consistent, scalable Klaviyo revenue comes from — and they were the biggest gap in the account.
List segmentation and integrations. Contacts were segmented by behavior, purchase history, and engagement level. Klaviyo was connected to the ecommerce stack to enable accurate conversion tracking and behavioral triggers.
Ongoing: Campaigns, Testing, and Optimization
Each month after launch included up to 8 email campaigns, A/B testing on subject lines and send times, retargeting for high-value segments, and monthly flow reviews across all automated sequences. Strategy, calendar, and analytics were reviewed together each month.

Email List: +70.55% Growth
The list grew from 8,825 to 14,992 subscribers — 9,210 net new contacts added in 6 months. At the same time, unengaged exclusions dropped 22%, so list quality improved alongside size.
Welcome Flow: Built to Convert
54.93% open rate. 4.63% click rate. 3.18% placed order rate.
12,424 recipients entered the new Welcome Series. All three performance metrics showed >999% improvement versus the prior period — the previous flow was essentially inactive.
Flow Revenue: $1.65K → $37.2K
The compounding effect of well-built Klaviyo automation is visible in the month-by-month flow revenue:

| Month | Flow Revenue | vs. Prior Year |
|---|---|---|
| July 2025 | $1,650 | — |
| August 2025 | $3,980 | — |
| November 2025 | $23,300 | +171% |
| December 2025 | $37,200 | +398.9% |
| February 2026 | $7,980 | +568.6% |
Every new subscriber entering a flow, every abandoned cart triggered, every post-purchase sequence sent — all of it compounds month over month.
Total Attributed Revenue
| Month | Klaviyo Attributed Revenue | Growth |
|---|---|---|
| July 2025 | $16,575 | +105.9% vs. prior period |
| August 2025 | $25,386 | +53.1% vs. prior period |
| November 2025 | $86,469 | +2.2% YoY |
| December 2025 | $159,727 | +25% YoY |
| February 2026 | $26,231 | +77.2% YoY |
December 2025 — the brand’s most critical month — generated $159,727 in Klaviyo-attributed revenue.
Industry Benchmarks: From “Poor” to “Excellent”
Klaviyo rates account performance against industry benchmarks. Here’s how the account moved in 6 months:
| August 2025 | February 2026 | |

Deliverability Stayed Clean at Scale
Growing a list fast can destroy deliverability if not managed carefully. It didn’t here:
- 0.006% spam complaint rate (well below industry thresholds)
- 0.246% bounce rate
- 141,086 recipients reached in February 2026 — up 83.4% year-over-year
